Guidebook to the Ranks
Alpha: The leaders of the pack, one male, and one female. They pick who does or doesn't join a pack, and make pack rules. This position has to be applied for, and once taken isn't available anymore.
Beta: Beta wolves are generally the off-spring of the Alpha, but in some cases may not be. They are the pack's second in command, the only command over them is the Alpha wolves.
Mentor: Mentor Wolves, are the teachers of the pack. They train new pups, in their element, and help the pack function as best they can.
Healer: Healer wolves, are basically the doctor's of the pack. They have supreme knowledge of herbs, and remedies to help the other members of their pack grow, and stay healthy.
Hunter:Hunter wolves are extremely valuable to the pack. These wolves, generally end up staying off to themselves even though they are part of packs. Their job is to hunt up meat for the rest of the pack. They may also be called to battle in such a case as the Warrior's need them.
Warrior: Warrior wolves are the military of the pack. They see to it that all the fighting is learned well, and they are the first in battle.
Scout: Scouts are the wolves that spend their time scouting out places to hunt, places to have pups, places to sleep, and good watering holes.
Pup: Any wolf under 2 years of age for female, under 3 years of age for male.
