Guidebook to the Life of Wolves!
(these facts have been altered slightly, to fit on-site rules and regulations, although the staff of Sierra tried to keep it as realistic as possible)
~Females can get pregnant once in every 3 month span of time, but cannot have but one litter a year birthed on site.
~ Female Wolves carry pups, for 2 months.
~Wolves hunt often as they have to eat to retain energy levels
~Female wolves are VERY protective of the cubs and their dens
, and will fight to the death if necessary

~Male wolves tend to be protective over the whole pack, but especially their mate's or pup's.
~All wolves have to listen to the Alpha wolf, and they tend to fall in behind the Beta wolves as well.
~Wolf Pups eat, sleep, and play they do not go hunting until they are a minimum of 12 weeks old.
~ Wolf pups like to “play” hunt
~ Wolves can, and often do, mate for life
~ Mentor wolves, are often viewed as "leaders" of their element.
~ Young mature wolves, have problems with authority at times.
~ Wolves will not fight unless provoked.
~ Wolves rarely kill for anything other than food.
~ Female wolves reach maturity at 2 years of age.
~ Male wolves reach maturity at 3 years of age.
